SERVICES
Love of Paws has proudly rescued over 2500 pets since 2012.

OUTREACH
Love of Paws Inc provides many services to improve the quality of life of our pets including:

RESCUE & RETURN
Our volunteers are committed to finding and reuniting pets to their rightful owners.

CARE
We provide housing for pets until we are sure they’re adoptable and transfer them to a sister organization that provides adoption services.  Services include:

  • Emergency medical care for animals abandoned for disease, infestation, or contagion
  • Chipping animals to allow future owners to find and identify their lost pets
  • Immunization against rabies, parvo, heartworms and other common ailments
  • Taking care of them (fostering) until they meet these prerequisites
  • Spaying or neutering all pets before adoption.

Love of Paws Inc also provides dog and cat food for families who are unable to provide for their pet.

PRIBBLE BARK PARK
We partnered with Montgomery County Parks and Recreation to return a deteriorating local park into our beloved dog park.  Learn more about the Pribble Bark Park.

FOSTER
Our volunteers foster pets waiting to be placed in a permanent home.  Love of Paws supplies all kennels, dog food, pee pads, vet bills for shots and to be spayed and neutered.  Puppies are kept for 14 days, a little longer than dogs, so they can receive their shots, be spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed and socialized before adoption.  If you’re interested in foster care, please see the following documents:

LOW-COST CLINICS
We improve the lives of our community’s pets and the families who protect them by offering low-cost immunization and microchipping clinics to reduce the opportunity of their pet to become lost again.  We also offer reduced cost spay/neuter clinics to reduce pet overpopulation.

FERAL CAT POPULATION
Farmers don’t mind having a few feral cats living in their barn because they keep unwanted critters away but they do mind if they aren’t spayed or neutered.  Love of Paws provides feral cat houses.
